I'm a painter of obsessive white trash art and collector of folklore and Americana
Bio
Out of the penthouse suite of a 150 year old corn crib comes tasty White Trash Art. Fueled by moonshine, Funyuns and gov'ment cheese, artist Peggy Clydesdale creates aesthetically pleasing bric-a-brack that reeks of salt o' the Earth rural living.
Peggy has extended her callused, motor-oil and oil paints stained hand and the unique cultural impact of the lower middle working class of America's heartland into artist collectives worldwide, including the Stuckists (www.stuckism.com) and more recently the Defastenist Kunstrepublik (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defastenism).
